9. Matches will commence after the two team captains have selected their team for the match to be played, they will then put their player’s tags face down for the draw. The ‘Away’ captain will start by turning over a ‘Home’ team name tag, then the ‘Home’ team captain will turn over an ‘Away’ team tag. This will continue until all name tags are turned over. Players turning up late to a league venue are at the discretion of the opposing team captain.

(a)       The games will be played in the order as drawn on the card. Order of play being 6 singles, then 2 triples. Triples to be drawn after the 6 single games have been played. N.B. Premiership is 8 singles.

NOTE: Once the draw has been made the order of play cannot be changed.

(b)       If pre-agreed with both captains a player that has been allowed to play doesn’t turn up at the pre-arranged time then the captain can substitute the pre-arranged player.

(c)       In the first round of the Knockout Cup a team must field at least 6 players. If a team does not comply with this they will be exempt from the Royal Oak Challenge Cup.

If a team fields an unregistered player in the KO Cup or Jack Bayliss Plate, the team will be disqualified. If this occurs in the first round the team will also not qualify to play in the Royal Oak Challenge Cup.

(d)       All squad members MUST be present by 8.30p.m. to be eligible to play.

10. Fixture dates are not flexible, any team failing to turn out will forfeit the said match. League games to be Monday nights only. Cancellation of matches can be arranged with the Secretary and Committee providing that they give the Secretary NO LESS THAN 7 DAYS NOTICE and then only at the Secretary’s and Committee’s discretion. Any matches that may be cancelled will have to be played either one week before said match or one week after said match.

(a) From 8.15p.m. at any match venue it becomes an OPEN BOARD for all darts players to practice before said match.

11. The order of play will be as follows (no bull up for the first two legs):
*Away Player to throw first in Leg 1

*Home Player to throw first in Leg 2

*In the event of a third leg, players to bull up with AWAY PLAYER throwing for the bull first (dart in 25 or bull must be removed before home player throws).

12. Each game to commence and finish on a double (except for triples), bull to count as a double for both start and finish of a game. Only darts thrown and remaining in the board to count, irrespective of position of flight. No darts to be returned to thrower. Three darts in “bed” will not count for game unless finishing with required double.
